Overview
Indian Sandstone Patios by MAFFS
Indian sandstone is the UK's most popular natural paving: warm, varied and good value. Every slab is slightly different, which gives a natural, characterful finish.
We lay sandstone on a compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base and full mortar bed, with falls away from the house so water drains properly.
Why choose it
- Natural colour variation and texture
- Usually the most affordable natural stone
- Suits period and country properties
- Can be laid in random or uniform patterns
Worth knowing
- Benefits from sealing to reduce staining
- Can weather and green in shady spots
